About Me

My Story
Started my works with a kids wood burning tool in 2007 when I took a year off from my job to spend it hiking in Glacier National Park. The park inspired me to create the beautiful world I was surrounded by. Working part-time at the Kalispell Grand Hotel, I recreated a wood burn for the business based on a piece of artwork. The manager was so impressed she helped me buy a professional woodburner set that I use to this day.

Being a Wyoming native born in Laramie I had been away from here for almost 30 years having lived in Arkansas, Georgia and Florida. I continued to dabble in the art of Pyrography.

In 2017 I returned to Wyoming, missing my mountain roots. Here I took up more serious focus on the art and received some great feedback. Showed at many festivals over time that was very rewarding for me.

2026 I retired. My works in Pyrography go to help me meet the expenses of cost of living that is far outpacing my retirement income. Although the struggle is real, it is rewarding doing something I enjoy so much to help myself meet the demands of day to day living.
